Innovation is part of the Jaeger-LeCoultre psyche. Tracing its beginnings to Antoine LeCoultre’s workshop in Le Sentier, Switzerland, which he established in 1833, Jaeger-LeCoultre derived its name from a partnership formed between Edmond Jaeger and Jacques-David LeCoultre in 1937. The company, which has always been at the forefront of watch-making, has had plenty of milestones, including the world’s thinnest watch in 1907 and the world’s smallest calibre in 1925, to name a few. Jaeger-LeCoultre brings this tradition of creation and innovation into the present with its collection of tourbillon and grand complication watches. Jaeger-LeCoultre was acquired by the Richemont Group in 2000 and became a partner of Time International in 2004.
