In the ever-evolving world of Haute Horlogerie, Hublot continues to stand apart by defying convention. This year, the bold Swiss watchmaker takes a revolutionary leap with the Square Bang Tourbillon 4-Day Power Reserve—the first timepiece in the Square Bang family to feature a tourbillon movement and a manual-winding calibre with central hands.

A Bold Shift in Geometry
Why are most watches round? Because the wheel is round. But Hublot challenges this basic principle by embracing the square—not just in case design, but deep into the architectural heart of the watch. The Square Bang Tourbillon marks a new milestone, not only as the first Square Bang with two central hands, but also the first with an entirely square-structured movement.
Developed entirely in-house, the MHUB6023 manual-winding calibre boasts 174 components and square or rectangular bridges, perfectly mirroring the bold geometry of its 42mm case. Each element has been crafted with a meticulous balance of matte and satin finishes, enhancing the layered architecture of this openworked marvel.
Form Meets Function

Hublot’s commitment to fusion—between tradition and innovation, design and mechanics—is vividly realized here. The movement’s elements are purposefully placed across the four quadrants of the case: a tourbillon at six o’clock, power reserve indicator at nine, barrel at twelve, and crown at three. This layout offers symmetry and a dynamic visual rhythm, intensified by the full skeletonization of the dial.
What’s more, the silicon escapement inside the tourbillon ensures resistance to magnetic interference and temperature changes—pushing the limits of performance while maintaining refined precision.
Crafted for Distinction
To support such a bold mechanical statement, Hublot created a new bespoke case: a 3D carbon composite, uniquely woven into a square-themed motif that extends from the case to the textured rubber strap. This choice of material results in a light yet robust construction, perfectly suited to the technical sophistication of the movement within.
The harmony between interior and exterior is flawless. Square meets square—both in mechanics and design—delivering a cohesive and futuristic aesthetic that’s unmistakably Hublot.
A True Collector’s Piece
With a four-day power reserve, this Square Bang is not only a visual and technical masterpiece but also highly practical for everyday wear. And thanks to the transparent architecture, each tick of the movement can be admired from every angle.

The Hublot Square Bang Tourbillon 4-Day Power Reserve is more than just a watch—it’s a mechanical sculpture, a design manifesto, and a powerful new voice in the language of horology. With its radical square geometry and uncompromising execution, it pushes the limits of what a tourbillon watch can be.
