IWC Schaffhausen presents two exquisite new additions to its Pilot’s Watch collection, paying tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s timeless novel The Little Prince. Combining sophisticated materials with haute horlogerie complications, the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon Le Petit Prince (Ref. IW504901) and the Big Pilot’s Watch 43 Tourbillon Le Petit Prince (Ref. IW329501) embodies elegance, storytelling, and mechanical mastery.
Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon Le Petit Prince

The IW504901 is IWC’s first “Le Petit Prince” model crafted in striking blue ceramic. Complemented by an 18-carat 5N gold crown and case back ring, this watch pairs a matching blue dial and textured rubber strap to create a captivating and regal aesthetic.
Inside, two major complications, the perpetual calendar and flying minute tourbillon—make this a horological powerhouse. The tourbillon, placed at 12 o’clock, comprises 82 parts and weighs just 0.635 grams. The calendar features moon phase depiction of the Little Prince on asteroid B612, with all displays synchronized and adjustable via the crown.
The IWC-manufactured 51950 calibre powers the watch, its gold rotor shaped like the Little Prince visible through the sapphire case back.

The second model, IW329501, is housed in a 43 mm platinum case—the rarest and most enduring of precious metals. Its deep blue sunray-finished dial, paired with rhodium-plated hands and applied numerals filled with Super-LumiNova®, ensures timeless elegance and legibility.
At 6 o’clock, the flying minute tourbillon appears to float, equipped with a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The IWC-manufactured 82905 calibre includes proprietary Diamond Shell® technology to reduce friction and enhance energy efficiency, offering an 80-hour power reserve.

The Pellaton winding system maximizes winding efficiency, while the Little Prince-shaped rotor adds a poetic touch to the technical marvel.
