Led by their motto ‘Accept only perfection, only manufacture watches of the highest quality,’ Baume & Mercier has been in existence since 1830. Initially a watch dealership run by the brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume in Les Bois village in the Swiss Jura, the company grew rapidly and evolved to manufacture watches incorporating cutting-edge innovations. Visionary insight from Louis-Victor opened the doors for the Manufacture to cater to women, allowing for the brand to establish a strong foundation in ladies’ watches.

Considered the seventh oldest Swiss watch-making brand, Baume & Mercier continues to evolve yet stays true to its rich heritage. It has enjoyed a partnership with Time International since 1999.
