Originally introduced over two centuries ago with a pioneering advertising pamphlet, this iconic timepiece is now reborn in wristwatch form—retaining the spirit of its simplified architecture and elegant clarity.
At first glance, the purity of the white enamel dial captivates. True to its historical counterpart, the time is displayed with a single, exquisitely crafted hand. Despite its minimalist nature, the design offers remarkable legibility—a hallmark of Breguet’s timeless aesthetic. The steel hand, flame-blued and meticulously curved by hand, glides over a set of slightly inclined Breguet Arabic numerals.
These numerals are paired with a delicate “chemin de fer” or railroad track, punctuated by refined sector markings at 5, 10, 15, and 30-minute intervals. All markers are rendered in black petit feu enamel, including the iconic Breguet signature at 12 o’clock.
